Weed Whackers

Zack is vertically challenged when it comes to long grass and weeds and quite often all you can see of him is the tip of his tail. Sunday was no exception.
We bumped into an adorable 6 month old labradoodle puppy on our walk and it didn't take long before the two of them were whacking through the weeds trying to catch each other. I wish I had a video camera so you could see how Zack bounds through the long weeds - it's a cross between a kangaroo and a rabbit. Too funny.
Then suddenly Zacky bursts out of the long grass to the freedom of the short grass and then the zoomies hit for both Zack and the puppy.
We were killing ourselves laughing at the two of them playing together. Hopefully we will meet them again.
After whacking through the weeds and getting the zoomies it made for a hot tired dog. It was about +25 degrees yesterday!!! Really hot for this time of year here. Let's just say we had a nice peaceful evening with Zack catching up on some zzzzzzs.

He he, that looked like fun. Lola is funny in the long grass - she leap up like a kangaroo tryin to see over the top of it.

I too run a lot like a Kangaroo/Rabbit - with my back 2 legs moving together in a sort of speedy hopping rabbit motion, today I did a back-flip on the fells (falling down backwards on my extendible lead when it reached full length trying to make friends with a sheep!!) so we really identified with your post - such fun, and the wind lifts your ears up just like it does mine! - Marvellous!

That is some cute puppy! Glad Zacky made a friend on his walk.

I went for a huge walk in long grass last weekend and got tangled up in it. Goo stands up on her back legs in long grass and looks out over the top like a meerkat.
